RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: The Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, expressed his support and appreciation for a speech given recently by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz to show the Kingdom’s high level of caring for the wellbeing of all citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia during the recent global outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The government of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Al Rabeeah affirmed in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, continues to take all possible precautionary measures to combat this pandemic and limit its effects on the population. The strong spirit of the people will also help the country to face this and all other challenges now and in the future, he added.
The Supervisor General also pointed out that the leadership’s directives during this crisis are creating a platform across all sectors to provide everything necessary to overcome the effects of the global spread of COVID-19, adding that the Saudi government is continuously following up on all aspects of the situation and taking appropriate, proactive preventive measures to safeguard lives and lessen the effects of the virus on the country.
Dr. Al Rabeeah affirmed that, with the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and close monitoring by HRH the Crown Prince, KSrelief continues to perform its humanitarian role and deliver aid to vulnerable countries affected by this serious disease, adding that most of these already were already facing a great number of humanitarian needs before the start of the pandemic. He concluded his statement by wishing good health and wellbeing to all during this challenging time.
