RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: The Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, held a virtual meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the Kingdom, Mr. Wong Zhaoming.
The two sides discussed areas of bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and Singapore in the field of humanitarian aid and relief, as well as topics related to the global repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. The officials addressed the negative effects of the epidemic on many countries, and stressed the importance of cooperation between their two countries in supporting global efforts to combat the spread of the disease.
The Singaporean Ambassador praised the Kingdom’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic through its role as President of the G20, and for its global initiatives to contain the virus and to support international efforts to develop a successful vaccine.
