RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman underwent a successful operation to have his gallbladder removed and is recovering in hospital, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The laparoscopic surgery took place at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh where the king will spend some time to receive treatment as advised by the medical team.
King Salman chaired a virtual cabinet meeting from the hospital on Tuesday and thanked all those who have asked after his health and wished him well since he was admitted with an inflamed gallbladder.
