YEMEN: A team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) recently delivered 150 tons of dates to Yemen – part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s annual Gift of Dates project.
The delivering ceremony was attended by a representative of the Yemeni government, the Coordinator for the Supreme Commission for Relief in Yemen, Dr. Jamal Balfaqih, and representatives of the KSrelief branch office in Aden.
Dr. Balfaqih appreciated the role played by Saudi Arabia in Yemen, indicating that the gift would be distributed to the neediest families across Yemen.
The Kingdom’s “Gift of Dates” program is just one of the initiatives Saudi Arabia’s leadership has implemented through KSrelief to provide comprehensive and impartial support to people in need around the world.
