KABUL, AFGHANISTAN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) recently delivered education sector aid to the Afghan Ministry of Education. Items provided included office furniture, 8 vehicles, and 99,902 copies of a book called Arabic in Your Hands.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Jassim bin Muhammad Al-Khalidi, and the Afghan Minister of Education, Muhammad Mirwais Balkhi; the shipment note was signed by both officials in the capital city of Kabul.
Minister Balkhi extended his sincere thanks to Saudi Arabia for its ongoing humanitarian assistance for the Afghan people, particularly the items being provided today to support the country’s education sector.
The Saudi Ambassador praised the close ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. He stated that these ties have been formed over many years, and that Saudi Arabia continues to strive to consolidate these ties for the best interests of the two peoples. He added that the Kingdom will continue to support Afghanistan across all sectors.
This aid comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief assistance provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of people in need around the world.
