MA’RIB, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to distribute aid to flood-affected Yemenis throughout the country, in cooperation with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR).
On 8 June 2020, 110 food baskets (8.14 tons) were handed out to provide nutritional assistance to 660 people in the Ras Abas area of Aden’s Al Buraiqeh district.
Abdullah Al Tayyar, the Urgent Relief Coordinator at KSrelief’s Branch Office in Aden, stated that the food distribution is part of the center’s overall commitment to providing support for the Yemeni people, particularly those affected by floods from torrential rains which swept through regional IDP camps.
The head of the Executive Unit for the IDP Camps Administration in Aden, Abdo Al Mohdheb, thanked KSrelief for providing ongoing support to IDPs.
KSrelief also recently launched an urgent food and shelter aid distribution project to help people affected by heavy rains and flooding in several parts of Yemen.
