YEMEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) recently distributed 100 hygiene kits for 600 orphans from the governorates of Aden, Ma’rib, Sana’a, Al Bayda, Al Jawf and the West Coast; these were the first activities undertaken as part of the Seed of Safety project, which provides services and aid to benefit orphaned children and their families.
The project aims to provide health, psychological, social and educational care to orphans in Yemen. The purpose of providing personal hygiene kits to families was to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Yemen by increasing knowledge and social awareness about the pandemic.
KSrelief continues to provide urgent aid to crisis-affected people in Yemen and elsewhere in the world.
