MA’RIB, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) distributed a variety of aid to IDPs affected by flooding in the Al Rawdah area of Ma’rib. The distribution was carried out in cooperation with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR). Items included 100 tents, 100 shelter kits, 100 blankets, 100 rugs and 100 food baskets (7.4 tons) to provide shelter and food assistance for 570 beneficiaries.
A KSrelief field team installed tents for a number of families affected by the torrential rains which destroyed their homes. The Director of the Executive Unit for IDP Camps in the Ma’rib governorate, Saif Muthanna, thanked KSrelief for its assistance to area residents in need, and expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leading humanitarian role in supporting the Yemeni people during the ongoing conflict in the country.
KSrelief has provided urgent and ongoing aid to millions of crisis-affected people in Yemen and elsewhere in the world.
