KSrelief Distributes Ongoing Aid to Yemenis in Need

YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues to distribute a variety of humanitarian aid to support people in need throughout Yemen; assistance is delivered in cooperation with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief.

11 March 2020: 436 food baskets were distributed to 2,616 people in eight areas in the Hadibu district of Socotra. 3,125 boxes of dates were distributed in the Thamud district of Hadramawt, and 200 boxes of dates were distributed in the Al Ghaydah district of Al Mahrah to people with special needs, IDPs, and others.

12 March 2020: 5,500 boxes of dates were distributed in the Al Qaf and Rumah districts of Hadramawt to IDPs and other families in need.

13 March 2020: 300 food baskets were distributed to provide nutritional assistance to 1,800 people in seven areas of Socotra’s Hadibu district.

14 March 2020: 3,099 food baskets were distributed to provide nutritional assistance to 18,591 residents of 40 villages in the Hayran, Midi, Harad, and Abs districts near Sa’dah, and to others living on the Al Fasht and Baklan Islands.

The distribution was part of KSrelief’s ongoing commitment to providing emergency shelter and food assistance to various parts of Yemen.
