LAHORE, PAKISTAN: On the 16th day of an ongoing food aid project, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) provided 704 Ramadan food baskets to beneficiaries in the city of Lahore in Pakistan’s Punjab region. The project was carried out in cooperation with relevant Pakistani authorities, and the food aid was delivered directly to beneficiaries’ residences in accordance with the country’s COVID-19 response plan. The 550 Ramadan food baskets (18 tons) were distributed to provide nutritional assistance to 3,300 beneficiaries in Lahore. Since the first day of the initiative, 20,108 food baskets have been distributed in Pakistan.
KSrelief provides food aid each year during the holy month of Ramadan to targeted beneficiaries in a number of countries.
