SINAR, SUDAN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), in cooperation with Al-Egtinam Organization for Human Development, distributed shelter materials yesterday to residents of the Nile neighborhood of Abu Hajjar in the Sudanese state of Sinar. The aid, which included tents, blankets, mattresses and shelter kits, will provide urgent assistance to those affected by recent floods in the area, and is part of a larger flood-relief project being carried out by KSrelief in various parts of the Republic of Sudan.
KSrelief has delivered 90 tons of food and emergency aid to flood victims as follows: 300 tents, 300 shelter kits, 1,800 blankets, 16 tons of food baskets and 40 tons of dates; beneficiary areas include affected parts of the Khartoum, Sinar and Al Jazeera states. A total of 31,980 people will benefit from this aid, which is part of the comprehensive relief work being done by the Kingdom, represented by KSrelief, to provide urgent assistance to the Sudanese people in light of the various challenges and crises in the country.
