KSRelief hands over $10 million grant to Mauritius ruling party

RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’a (KSRelief) supervisor general, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, on Sunday handed over a grant of $10 million to the president of the ruling party of the Republic of Mauritius, Shaukat Ali Soudhan, to help establish a rapid response system in the wake of a natural disaster.

A deal was also signed to distribute 50 tons of dates in Mauritius. The KSRelief chief said the $10 million grant is to help alleviate the suffering of people affected by the hurricane.

The visiting dignitary thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their generosity. Soudhan also highlighted a number of measures the Kingdom has taken to cement ties with Mauritius and to help the people of the country.
