Since its establishment in May 2015 and until December 2019, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has implemented 1,130 projects covering various countries and peoples in need from all over the world, with a total value of 4 billion, 268 million and 473 thousand US dollars and in cooperation with 144 local, regional and international partners. The Republic of Yemen came on top of the supported countries with 68.57% of projects, followed by Palestine with 8.34%, then Syria with 6.69%, then Somalia with 4.32%.
Until last December, the Center implemented 405 projects worth two billion and 926 million and 747 thousand dollars in Yemen, in cooperation with 80 partners. The health sector involved 183 projects, the food security sector involved 70 projects, 25 projects were implemented in the field of support and coordination of humanitarian operations, 21 projects in early recovery, 23 projects in the water and environmental sanitation sector, 20 projects in the field of shelter, 19 projects in protection, 15 projects in the educational sector, 7 projects in logistics services, 5 projects in nutrition and 1 project in emergency communications, in addition to 16 projects in other sectors .
In Palestine, the Center has implemented 83 projects for those in need, with a total value of 355 million and 872 thousand dollars, in cooperation with 17 partners. 18 projects were implemented in the health sector, 31 projects in food security, 11 projects in accommodation, 11 other projects in the education sector, 2 projects in logistics, two other projects in water and environmental sanitation, two projects in early recovery, a project in protection, a project in the area of support and coordination of humanitarian operations, and 4 projects in several other sectors.
Since its establishment until December 2019, the Center also carried out 206 projects worth 285 million and 511 thousand USD in Syria, in cooperation with 40 partners. The food security sector involved 77 projects, the shelter sector involved 52 projects, the health sector involved 33 projects, 11 projects were implemented in education, 4 projects in Philanthropy, 4 projects in protection, 3 projects in the water and environmental sanitation sector, two projects in early recovery, two projects in the nutrition sector, one project in logistics and another project in support and coordination of humanitarian operations, as well as 16 projects in other sectors.
KSRelief also implemented 41 projects valued at 184 million and 308 thousand US dollars for the victims in Somalia, in cooperation with 7 partners. They included 23 projects in the field of food security, 7 projects in the health field, 3 projects in water and environmental sanitation, two projects in the residential sector and the same in Early Recovery, one project in nutrition and another project in support and coordination of humanitarian operations. In addition, the center supported two projects in other multiple sectors.
