MA’RIB, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) carried out yesterday, within the “Seed of Safety” project, an awareness campaign on novel coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention for orphans and their families. Six hundred orphans and their families from the governorates of Ma’rib, Sana’a, Al Bayda, Al-Jawf, Aden and the West Coast benefitted from this campaign, which was carried out in cooperation with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR), were beneficiaries of this campaign, which included teaching orphans and their families about effective handwashing techniques, how to safely cover coughs and sneezes, and other ways to ensure personal and household hygiene. Five hundred brochures on virus protection and safety measures were also printed and distributed.
KSrelief offers various humanitarian and relief projects and programs to orphans and their families in Yemen with the aim of improving their living conditions and providing them with comprehensive care. KSrelief continues to provide urgent aid to crisis-affected people in Yemen and elsewhere in the world.
