MA’RIB, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) launched yesterday a Project for Medical Support Distribution to health units and centers in districts of the Ma’rib governorate. The medical aid included clinical equipment, medicines and other supplies for the Kara General Hospital, the Muhammad Hael Maternity and Pediatric Hospital, and other health facilities in Ma’rib.

The Director of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Office in Ma’rib, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Shadadi, expressed his appreciation for the ongoing assistance being provided by KSrelief to the governorate, adding his thanks for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s support of Yemen across all humanitarian sectors.

Dr. Al Shadadi pointed out that the medical devices and supplies would help support the health care system in Ma’rib and alleviate the suffering of many patients in the area, which has seen a large influx of IDPs due to the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
