RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs at King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz, met today with Mohamed al Faki Suleiman, a member of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan at KSrelief’s headquarters in Riyadh. Mr. Suleiman expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince for standing by the Sudanese people as they strive to overcome the devastating effects of flooding from torrential rains that have struck various parts of Sudan, leading to great loss of life, and widespread damage to property and infrastructure. He added that the Kingdom’s aid reflects the deep and strong ties between the two countries, and that such aid is an affirmation of Saudi Arabia’s global role as the “Kingdom of Humanity”.
