Since its establishment in May 2015 until December 2019, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center implemented 1,130 projects covering various countries and peoples in need from all over the world, with a total value of four billion and 268 million and 473 thousand US dollars, in cooperation with 144 local, regional and international partners. On top of the countries, comes Yemen which was supported with 68.57% of the projects, followed by Palestine with 8.34%, Syria with 6.69%, then Somalia with 4.32%.

405 projects in Yemen, about three billion
Until last December, the center implemented 405 projects in Yemen. They were worth two billion and 926 million and 747 thousand dollars and implemented in cooperation with 80 partners. The health sector had 183 projects, the food security sector had 70 projects, the field of support and coordination of humanitarian operations had 25 projects, early recovery had 21 projects, the water and environmental sanitation sector had 23 projects, the field of shelter had 20 projects, protection had 19 projects, the educational sector had 15 projects, logistics services had seven projects, nutrition had five projects, emergency communications had one project, as well as 16 projects in other sectors.
355 million dollars to Palestine for 83 projects
In Palestine, the Center has implemented 83 projects for those in need, with a total value of 355 million and 872 thousand dollars, in cooperation with 17 partners. It implemented 18 projects in the health sector, 31 projects in food security, 11 projects in accommodation, and 11 other projects in the education sector, two projects in logistics services, two projects in water and environmental sanitation, two projects in early recovery, one in protection, one in the field of support and coordination of humanitarian operations, and four projects in several other sectors.
206 projects in Syria with 285 million
Since its foundation until December 2019, the center also carried out 206 projects worth 285 million and 511 thousand US dollars in Syria, which were in cooperation with 40 partners. The food security sector had 77 projects, the shelter sector had 52 projects, the health sector had 33 projects, the education sector had 11 projects. And four projects were implemented in charitable works, four projects in protection, three projects in the water and environmental sanitation sector, two projects in early recovery, two projects in the nutrition sector, one project in logistics and another project in support and coordination of humanitarian operations, as well as 16 projects in other sectors.
184 million to 41 projects in Somalia
KSRelief implemented 41 projects valued at 184 million and 308 thousand US dollars for the Affected in Somalia, which were in cooperation with seven partners. They included 23 projects in the field of food security, seven projects in the health field, three projects in water and environmental sanitation, and two projects in the residential sector and the same in recovery Early, one project in nutrition and another project in support and coordination of humanitarian operations. In addition, the center supported two projects in multiple sectors.
Water and environmental sanitation project
KSRelief continued the implementation of the water and environmental sanitation project, in cooperation with the Tiba Foundation for Development, to preserve the lives of families in the Al-Khanqq camp in the Horeb Niham area of Sana’a Governorate.
During the period from January 9 to 15, 2020, 220,500 liters of sanitary water was pumped into the tanks, 423,590 liters of wastewater was used for the tanks, and the waste and transportation were lifted and dumped to the landfill. KSRelief’s Works also continued the implementation of the water and environmental sanitation project to preserve the lives of families in the Khokha district in the Hodeidah Governorate.
During the period from January 10 to 16, 2020, 287,000 liters of sanitary water was pumped into the tanks, 329,000 liters of wastewater was used for the tanks, and the waste and waste were removed from the directorate and dumped in the landfill.
This comes within the framework of the system of humanitarian and relief projects presented by the Kingdom represented by the Center for the Yemeni brotherly people to improve their living conditions during the current humanitarian crisis it is going through.
In addition, the mobile nutritional medical clinics of the KSRelief continued to provide treatment services in the Al-Khaniq camp in Harib Naham in Sana’a governorate, in partnership with Thebes Development Foundation, during the period 9-15 January 2020.
The emergency department reviewed 461 individuals, the internal clinic 471, the mobile team 101 patients, the wound dressing clinic 15 people, medicines were disbursed to 1,319 patients, the women and obstetric clinic reviewed 79 women, the laboratory examination was performed for 394 patients, the health care department reviewed 292 auditors, and the department Immunization 10 patients, the nutrition clinic 27 individuals, and the medical referral department one beneficiary. The emergency nutritional medical clinics of KSRelief also continued to provide treatment services in the Khokha district of Al Hudaydah governorate during the past week in partnership with Thebes Foundation for Development. The Integrated Care Department reviewed 2,899 beneficiaries, the immunization clinic 16 people, the surgery and dressing clinic 280 individuals, the birth clinic 11 cases, the awareness and education section 768 people, the medical referral department 3 beneficiaries, and the reproductive health clinic 376 patients.
It also conducted a laboratory examination of 1,509 patients, dispensed drugs for 2,816 patients. The hypnosis department received 30 beneficiaries, the health care department reviewed 1,151 people, the ECG department 5 beneficiaries, and the blood transfusion clinic 19 beneficiaries.
Support Al-Jada Health Center
On the other hand, the Al-Jada Health Center continued to provide treatment services to beneficiaries in the Yemeni Hajjah Governorate, with the help of the KSRelief and in partnership with Thebes Development Foundation, during the period from 9 to 15 January 2020.
The emergency department reviewed 767 beneficiaries, the internal department 272 people, the reproductive health clinic 38 beneficiaries, the epidemiological department 384 people, the nursing services section 826 people, the blood transfusion department 10 reviewers, while seven activities were carried out to get rid of waste.
The laboratory and radiology department also reviewed 610 people, the medical referral section 24 patients, the awareness and education section 1,768 beneficiaries, and the drugs were dispensed to 1,566 individuals.
In a related context, KSRelief distributed, on Friday, a thousand winter bags in the Neelam district of the Kashmir region in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, benefiting five thousand children, women and old people.
