RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, praised the dedication to humanity expressed in a recent speech by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at the opening of the extraordinary virtual G20 Summit. Other G20 members communicated their appreciation for the Kingdom’s commitment to ensuring that the important work of the summit proceeds despite serious global disruptions being caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Al Rabeeah added that the speech provided an accurate description of the reality of the current crisis and its humanitarian and economic repercussions, and that it also underscored the responsibility of G20 countries to help developing countries as the world attempts to overcome the economic and human effects of the pandemic.
Dr. Al Rabeeah also praised the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince to KSrelief to continue to provide support and assistance to protecting people worldwide from COVID-19, adding that the Kingdom is keen to help all countries achieve economic and social stability. The actions of the Kingdom’s leadership, he added, reflects the principles and values which make international humanitarian giving the highest priority.
The Supervisor General concluded his remarks by wishing everyone in the world security and stability, which could only be provided when people everywhere come together to help and support each other.
