ADEN, YEMEN: Three relief trucks provided by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), recently arrived in Aden carrying shelter support for flood-affected residents in the area. Last week, severe rains and floods wreaked havoc across Yemen. Homes, businesses, vehicles and other property were damaged or destroyed, and some residents were evacuated. The trucks contained 200 tents and supplies, rugs and blankets.
KSrelief recently launched a campaign which included the distribution of 3,140 food baskets (232.4 tons), 3,000 boxes of dates, 170 tents, 600 rugs, 1,020 blankets and 350 shelter kits to help 18,840 people affected by flooding that hit Aden.
In March, KSrelief also provided other urgent assistance to Aden residents, including 1,763 food baskets (130.5 tons), 80 tents, 600 rugs, and 640 shelter kits to assist 10,578 beneficiaries.
