A team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) recently delivered 50 tons of dates to the Maldives – part of the Kingdom’s annual global “Gift of Dates” project.
On behalf of KSrelief, the chargé d’affaires of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in the Maldives, Seaf Al Qahtani, handed over the aid to the Minister of Islamic Affairs for the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Ahmad Zahir.
Dr. Zahir expressed his thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for delivering the dates, adding that the assistance would be distributed to the largest possible number of beneficiaries.
The Kingdom’s “Gift of Dates” program is just one of the initiatives the Kingdom’s leadership has implemented through KSrelief to provide comprehensive and impartial support to people in need around the world.
